Ø A minimum of 20 individuals are needed to complete this trip. A refund of fees will be made if the minimum number of attendees cannot be obtained
Ø A completed Application Form and fee for the trip must be received no later than September 21st
Ø A significant number of AA Aircraft have been reserved in advance for the trip to Tan-Tar-A Resort. No need for you to reserve any aircraft
Ø To participate in this tour, each pilot, student pilot or passenger, must submit a fee of $35. This fee will cover the following costs:
Ø o AA Friday Night Preflight Briefing
o AA Saturday Morning Breakfast
o Transfer to and from Tan-Tar-A Resort, Osage Beach, MO
o
Ø We anticipate several types of applicants:
o Pilot Owners – may take family, friends or other pilots in their own aircraft
o Certificated Pilots –may take passenger consisting of friends, family or you may request to be paired with another pilot or a licensed instructor.
o Student Pilots – will be paired with another student (if available) and a CFI and may log cross country time applicable toward their aeronautical experience requirements for their private pilot certificate
Ø Aircraft assignment will be made based upon pilot experience. More experienced pilots will be assigned more complex aircraft. These pilots will have the opportunity to log Stationaire, Skylane or 172 RG, or G1000 time under the supervision of a qualified CFI. We will make every attempt to match pilots with the type of aircraft requested
Ø Should weather prevent the flight, participants will be notified on Friday night of the cancellation, however, a portion of the proceeds will be credited to the next upcoming fly-out.
Costs to consider:
o You may share aircraft rental costs per FAA regulations with other pilots and passengers
o Customary CFI training fees will apply for any CFI on Board.

1. Financial Details
The price for the preflight briefing and all tour costs are $35. This fee must be paid in advance. Absolutely every pilot and student pilot to take the controls of an aircraft on this mission to K15 are required to attend a preflight briefing, to be held Friday evening at 7:00 PM at Air Associates. This briefing will be held regardless of known weather conditions that may prohibit the planned flight the following day. Should weather prevent the flight, all pilots will be notified at the time of the Friday night pre-flight briefing.
The purpose of the preflight briefing is to instill or refresh competent cross-country planning skills, improve understanding and analysis of weather and promote decision-making that improves flight safety.
2. WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I hereby release from liability and promise to hold harmless under any and all causes of legal action Air Associates of Kansas, Inc. its officers, agents or employees, and any and all persons or entities who shall furnish any information or opinions to the above designated persons or entities for purposes of trip planning. I recognize that the flight will be conducted under Part 91 rules and regulations and as such: I agree to all Fly-Out rules and policies and the PIC shall take full responsibility for all aeronautical decision making and all passengers agree to accept the PIC as sole authority for the flight and decisions affecting such flight.
